Top Android Apps for College and University Students

Android is now world's largest smartphone OS. Android users are increasing with the passage of time. A study showed that Android OS is popular among under graduates and graduates. So we can say that it's the favorite OS of many college and university students. Therefore today I have decided to write a post on some of the Top Android Apps for College and University Students.

I have used all the apps that I have listed below. These Android apps have helped me a lot. Therefore without further ado let me start the list.

1)Evernote:

Evernote is a free note taking app. Available for Android and iOS. You can start saving your notes on this free app. Evernote also allows you to save your tweets. You can also share and sync files with others using Evernote. Another good thing about this app is that you can store your notes by putting a label on them. 2)Google Drive:


Yet another great app for students who want to store their important lectures,assignments or any other useful stuff. Google Drive works like Dropbox. It automatically connects to your Gmail account and authorizes you to upload anything you want. Another advantage of Google Drive is that you can upload important notes there and you can share them with your friends and classmates. 3)MyScript Calculator:


MyScript Calculator is my favorite Android app. Unlike other Calculator apps it do not shows you a keyboard to input numbers. You can draw numbers and symbols with your hand,the app recognizes the number and symbol and performs the operation. 4)School Timetable Deluxe:


School Timetable Deluxe is an Android app for a student like me who forgets to keep his smartphone on silent mode during lectures. Think,what would happen if you have forget to put your smartphone on silent mode and suddenly during lecture your phone starts ringing. Definitely,it would be a abashment for you,isn't it? 5)Expense Manager:


Being a student it is necessary for me to keep a record of all of my expenditures. This is where I use this app. You can use Expense Manager to keep a record of all of your expenditures. You can save your expenditure in different categories. This app gives you a proper reporter of how much you have spend in a day,week and in a month. You can also create budgets and payment alerts. This app also allows you to store images of your receipt. So you can use view them when necessary. Google is near to release its Android KitKat version. While many Android geeks are waiting for the release of Android 4.4 KitKat so that they can get their hands on it. iPhone 6 to feature 5.8 inch screen? First "Phablet" from Apple?

Few weeks back,Apple unveiled the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C and now rumors about iPhone 6 are taking the Internet like storm. Many websites and analysts are sharing rumors about the features of next iPhone i.e. about iPhone 6.


An analyst has reported that the next iPhone will be equipped with a 4.8 inch display which is bigger than the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Moreover some analysts have also shared their opinion over the next iPhone that it may be equipped with a 5 inch display screen.

Apple's competitor Samsung has already shipped smartphones having touchscreen bigger than 5''. Another analyst David Hsieh who is the Vice President of Greater China Market at DisplaySearch claims that Apple is thinking to give a tough competition to Samsung in the world of 'Phablet'.

David said that the next iPhone can come up with an unexpecting 5.8'' display and if it happens it would be become the first Phablet of Apple Inc. Samsung has recently started shipping the much awaited Galaxy Note 3.

In the upcoming months,we will get clear details of iPhone 6. You will have to wait to a bit to know if Apple will release any Phablet or not. Do have a keen eye on our blog as we will discuss all the rumors about the upcoming iPhone 6.


Tell Google not to use your Photo and Name in their Ads

On Friday,Google updated their terms and conditions and now according to their new terms and conditions they can show your face and name in their ads based upon your activities. A lot of people were finding ways to stop Google using their face and name in Google's advertisement.

Luckily,we have something for you. We have found a way through which you can tell Google to throw out your face and name from their ads. So how to do it? Here is the simple guide.

How to tell Google not to use your Photo and Name in their Ads:

It is very simple to exclude your face and name from Google ads. All you have to do is to visit Google's Shared Endorsement page on Google+. Here is a screenshot of the page that will appear after clicking the link:
To stop Google from sharing your name and face just uncheck the box and save your settings by clicking the Save button. In this way,Google will not show your face and name in their advertisements.



Samsung Galaxy S5 to debut in January

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date
After the massive success of Samsung Galaxy S4,the company has decided to launch their next giant in January,2014. Naver,a south Korean news site reported that Samsung has decided to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 next year. This would a 'New Year Gift' for all Android and Samsung fans said by some of Samsung sources.

The report has claims that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be equipped with 64 bit,eight-core Exynos processor. Moreover there will be a 16 megapixel camera with optical image optimization. We have seen that previous rumors have also claimed that the Galaxy SV will feature a metal case.

 For now,these are all rumors. We will have to wait until there comes an official statement from Samsung about the release date of Samsung Galaxy SV. Stay tuned with us to get more details about Samsung Galaxy S5.
